Meet Kenna Dickard, ORH’s Newest Team Member
Kenna Dickard recently joined ORH as a technical assistance specialist, supporting Oregon's Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) as part of the Oregon Rural Health Collaborative. Kenna's background spans program evaluation, public health research, technical assistance and direct service in community mental health. She holds a PhD in community psychology, a field focused on understanding how organizations, systems and communities work together to drive meaningful, lasting change. She brings that systems-level perspective directly to her work supporting rural Oregon communities as they navigate health system transformation. In her role, Kenna will support RHTP regional convenings and identify technical assistance needs across the state, helping communities build the capacity to apply for RHTP funding and move toward sustainable systems change. Kenna is based in the Columbia River Gorge and is excited to get out into Oregon's rural regions and connect with the communities and partners driving rural health transformation forward.
