RHC Regulation and Compliance Program
RHC Regulatory Compliance Cohort
Every August, the Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) invites leaders of Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) to participate in the Oregon RHC Compliance Cohort. This cohort brings together Oregon's RHC leaders for a comprehensive exploration of the RHC regulations outlined in 42 CFR 491 Subpart A, Conditions for Certification for Rural Health Clinics. The program runs from August to June and includes monthly one-hour virtual webinar training sessions led by subject-matter experts. This program incorporates group discussions, actionable tools and a dedicated session with a state surveyor, enabling leaders to gain practical insights and guidance. Each participant conducts an internal clinic survey to assess compliance adherence and implement a compliance improvement activity. One-on-one coaching sessions are provided by RHC experts, ensuring personalized support tailored to individual clinic needs. The sessions culminate in a final in-person meeting at a centrally located venue in Oregon in June. This cohort is designed to foster networking and collaboration among Oregon clinic leaders as they learn crucial aspects of RHC regulatory compliance.
