The Peaceful Presence Project to host a free virtual end-of-life course in August

Free Virtual End-of-Life Rural Nursing Education Consortium

The Peaceful Presence Project will host a free, two-day online End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC) course designed to advance knowledge and skills in palliative care. ELNEC is created by nurses, for nurses; however, other clinical providers who want to build skills for working with individuals with serious, life-limiting illness may attend on a space-available basis. Clinical settings that will particularly benefit from this course include hospitals, home health/visiting nurses, skilled nursing or assisted living facilities.

This virtual course will take place Aug. 3 and 4 from 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. PT each day.

If you live and work in a rural or remote community in Oregon, the Peaceful Presence Project hopes you will consider participating and sharing with other providers who may be interested.
