Make your nomination for the 2026 Oregon Community Star!
The Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) is searching for Oregon’s next Community Star. A Community Star is a person(s) or organization that makes a difference in our rural communities. We will announce the winner at the Annual Oregon Rural Health Conference this October, and they will join the other National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH) Community Stars on National Rural Health Day, celebrating the power of rural.
The nominees must be:
- Individuals, organizations or coalitions/consortia working or volunteering in a designated rural area. Check the Am I rural? tool to verify.
Not eligible:
- Government officials who are elected or appointed to positions in the executive, legislative or judicial branches of state or federal government; or
- Past Community Stars (past Community Stars are listed here).
To nominate a Community Star, please fill out this survey and submit it by July 20, 2026.
