The Forum on Rural Population Health is Next Month!

The Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) is excited for the return of the Forum on Rural Population Health, taking place virtually May 14–15, 2026.

This annual statewide convening brings together rural health care providers, public health professionals, community-based organizations, policymakers and other partners to share innovative strategies, strengthen connections and advance population health initiatives across rural Oregon.

This year’s Forum will highlight timely and impactful topics, including:

  • Community health worker (CHW) workforce development;
  • Behavioral health and trauma-informed care;
  • Innovative models to improve access to care in rural communities; and
  • Cross-sector collaboration to address social drivers of health.

Participants can expect engaging sessions, practical tools and opportunities to learn from and connect with leaders across the state. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with partners from across Oregon and learn what’s working in rural communities. Register today!

The Forum is designed for anyone working to improve health and well-being in rural communities—whether you are in clinical care, public health, community-based services or policy. The Forum is fully virtual, making it easy to attend from anywhere. Scholarships are still available to help reduce cost barriers. Apply here.
