U.S. News names OHSU Hospital No. 1 in Oregon, ranks six OHSU specialties among best in the nation

Ranking criteria include patient survival and safety, patient experience, quality of nursing care

OHSU Hospital is No. 1 in Oregon, according to U.S. News & World Report's Best Hospitals 2022-23, and ranks among the best hospitals in the nation in six specialties:

Oregon Health & Science University Doernbecher Children's Hospital ranks among the best children's hospitals in the United States, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2022-23 Best Children's Hospitals.

The Best Children's Hospitals rankings highlight U.S. News' top 50 U.S. pediatric facilities in cancer, diabetes and endocrinology, neonatology, nephrology, neurology and neurosurgery, pulmonology and urology. Eighty-nine hospitals ranked in at least one specialty, based on a combination of clinical data and reputation with pediatric specialists.

OHSU nursing is magnet recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center

OHSU is proud to be designated a Magnet hospital. Just 9 percent of U.S. health care organizations hold this designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. It is the highest recognition a nursing program can receive.

Our Magnet designation also celebrates OHSU as an organization that attracts highly qualified nurses, physicians and specialists, fosters collaboration across disciplines and improves patient care through high standards.
