You can join a care team and program distinguished by excellence, innovation and longevity. We offer:
- A myositis clinic that is one of the largest and oldest clinics on the West Coast
- A multidisciplinary ALS clinic recognized as a Certified Treatment Center of Excellence by the ALS Association
- An EMG lab accredited by the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine
- A multidisciplinary amyloid clinic

Fellowships and training
We offer an accredited one-year fellowship in neuromuscular medicine. As a fellow, you will work in an active muscular dystrophy clinic and use an established EMG laboratory. You’ll also:
- Participate in care
- Enroll patients in clinical trials
- Learn nerve conduction studies and EMG testing
- Learn how to interpret muscle pathology
Neuromuscular medicine research
We are active neuromuscular disease researchers and enroll patients in clinical studies to test treatments like monoclonal antibodies and CAR-T therapies.
Our faculty are also active in long-term, multi-center trials tracking clinical outcomes, disease course, and quality of life indicators for conditions like multifocal motor neuropathy.
