Pediatric EM Fellowship: Applicant Information

We welcome prospective applicants to contact Kimberly Regner, Fellowship Program Coordinator, via e-mail atregner@ohsu.edu with any questions during the application process.

U.S. graduates of either accredited 3 or 4 year Emergency Medicine or 3 year Pediatric Residency are welcome to apply.  ABEM requires a minimum of 2 years of fellowship training, though 3 years are strongly encouraged with an opportunity and funding to complete a Masters degree through the School of Public Health at OHSU. Pediatric graduates are required by ABP to complete 3 years of training with the same opportunity for an advanced degree.

The curriculum is designed to meet board requirements but remains highly flexible to meet individual needs. Applicants with an interest in taking an active role in their training are encouraged to apply.

This program participates in the national match. We use the ERAS application system and the NRMP Match program to appoint fellows. A limited number of applicants will be invited to interview in Portland in the fall every year.
