About me

I am a physician assistant who specializes in oncology. I treat patients with a variety of conditions, including leukemia, lymphomas and multiple myelomas. One of the treatments I specialize in is CAR T-cell therapy.

I have had a long-standing desire to work with oncology patients, although I started by working for 3 years in hospital medicine, followed by 2 years in gastroenterology. I am very excited for this new chapter working with oncology patients at OHSU.

I view patient care as a partnership. My goal is to provide education, guidance, and evidence-based options while empowering patients to take an active role in their health. I find it most rewarding is helping patients feel understood, supported and cared for beyond just their diagnosis.

Outside of work, I enjoy being outside doing activities such as stand-up paddle boarding, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, and pickleball. When I am not outside you will find me cooking up something nutritious in the kitchen, spending time with my two poodles, painting, and reading either a fantasy, romance or a self-help book.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
