Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  28. Dr. Meeker and his team of PA's, Nurses, Scheduling, etc. From the first time I saw Dr. Meeker, I felt so comfortable and confident in his ability to assess the problems, order an MRI, and thoroughly explained the issues with my ankle and foot, answered any questions, and gave me so many options of how I wanted to improve/fix my issue - from leave it and wait for a while, do PT, or surgery. He definitely explained risks, the possibility of the procedure not working 100%. I felt very involved in the decision making process. Additionally, Dr. Meeker and his entire team did everything, and really fought (the insurance company) to get my MRI approved. They were all so kind, and understood how bad my injury was and helped get me in to appointments that were reserved for emergencies. I appreciate everyone so much, and my life has already changed so much for the better.

  30. Michael was thoughtful, friendly and not condescending. Justine took off my cast and stitches and she was amazingly gentle and willing to chat as a distraction for me.
