About me

I am a neurologist specializing in headache medicine and facial pain disorders

My goal is to help you feel better and get back to living your life with fewer interruptions from pain. Depending on your needs, treatment may include:

  • Preventive and rescue medications
  • Nerve pain management
  • Botox injections
  • Nerve blocks
  • Trigger point injections

Headache medicine is a rapidly evolving field, and I make it a priority to stay current on the latest advances so I can offer you the most effective options available.

I completed both my neurology residency and headache medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, one of the country's leading centers for neurologic care. That training gave me a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating complex headache conditions, including:

When we work together, you can expect me to listen carefully, focus on getting the diagnosis right, and involve you, and your family, if you'd like, in every step of the decision-making process. Your goals drive your care plan, not the other way around.

Outside of the office, I love spending time with my wife and getting outdoors. Hiking, camping and gardening are my favorite ways to recharge.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.
