Dr. Marbach is an Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, an Interventional Cardiologist and a Cardiac Intensivist. He grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calgary and his medical degree from the University of Queensland, Australia. He moved to the United States to begin internal medicine residency training at Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, where he also served as chief medical resident and completed a Master of Science degree in Pharmacology at the Jefferson College of Biomedical Sciences.
