About me
I am a board certified orthopaedic surgeon on faculty at OHSU with sub-specialized expertise in foot and ankle disorders. I chose this field within Orthopaedics because treating foot and ankle maladies is tremendously meaningful. When people share their foot and ankle problems with me, it is my mission to work with them to achieve practical solutions that address their functional goals. It is particularly gratifying to see an athlete return to sport after treating their injury. Equally inspiring are the stories of patients who simply return to activities they enjoy such as hiking, cycling, or even taking their dog for a walk. In my role as an educator at OHSU, it is a privilege to share these experiences with the next generation of physicians and surgeons.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Already love Meeker and tell all the folks I can at home or in the waiting room. One lady said that a doctor helped her husband and called the doctor an angel and I thought to myself that has to be Meeker(no offense to other Dr.s). And the team is smooth also.
Staff is excellent, helpful and knowledgeable and Dr Meeker showed genuine concern, gave me options, personable, very knowledgeable and resolved very painful issue I have had for years. He is Superman to me.
Dr Meeker was kind, knowledgeable and explained things clearly. This enabled me to choose the best plan of care for my broken ankle.
Dr. Meeker is great, even came to visit me in the hospital to give me hope after my accident. 10/10
The doctor is very kind and accommodating.
He was 40 minutes late in coming into the exam room! Otherwise fine.
If we are talking about the physician who met with me regarding my X-rays..he was great!Reviewed my concerns with me.
They are always very helpful and friendly.
He took his time to connect with me and answer my questions.
He communicated well, answered all my questions and, as I said, he even sat on the floor to better align my broken ankle.
The doctor that I saw was very good. He was running overall very behind, but did not rush through my appointment. He did not rush me or cut me off and showed good concern and attention to detail.
He was friendly, relaxed, attentive and did what he said he would very quickly
It was a follow up for consultation on treatment options. He came in over 30 minutes late, clearly did not read my medical history, seemed uninterested and exhausted. I don't know if it was just because it was the end of the day or what but I left feeling completely defeated, confused, scared and overwhelmed because of the lack of warmth or collaboration I experienced. I did not feel cared for or supported. I will be seeking other consultations.
I was confused why I showed up early for an x-ray before the visit and the clinician to show up 25 minutes late only to check in for 5 minutes before leaving again.
I liked Dr. Meeker; he was kind and thoughtful. However, the visit felt VERY rushed.
I felt the student was more detailed and interested than the doctor
This appointment went well, but my first appointment with Dr. Meeker, I wasn't happy with.
I had a excellent team of medical providers. Dr. Meeker is the best!
Very professional and kind. Made sure I was comfortable, explained what was going to take place, was fast, efficient, showed concern and was friendly.
He was professional, kind and open to questions. He took time with us, we didn't feel rushed. It was a good experience, my first impression was excellent.
Dr. Meeker was thorough addressing my needs and concerns.
Dr. Meeker is extremely knowledgeable, up to date, and is an excellent clinician. He is also a very kind and caring individual. I am fortunate to be able to have him help me with my orthopedic problem.
Dr. Meeker and his office staff were all very professional and kind. Dr. Meeker took the time to listen and did not make me feel as though he was being rushed
Very good
Explained procedures and asked about my concerns
Dr Meeker, was personable, knowledgeable, showed he wanted to cure my health issues and gave me ideas on what can be done. Which was music to my ears since , I had another doctor/specialist tell me there was nothing that could be done. In fact, Dr Meeker, gave me injections during visit not requiring another appointment which would mean I would be in excruciating pain 24/y7 for weeks or months.
It was good easily understandable and kind
Very thorough.
Dr recommended me for MRIs and nurse was quick to schedule it for me. It was almost a one-stop shop.
Very good. They got me in quickly even though I was being fit in but didn't make me feel rushed and answered my questions
