  • Nov 11, 2018

Good bedside manner, down to earth and realistic about expectations from surgery. Laid out all my options and supported the one I chose. Dr Crawford was also extremely helpful to accommodate a timing request the day before my surgery. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

  • Oct 03, 2018

All the staff were quite nice and helpful - from reception, to the nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical crew - they all spoke with me, answered questions i had and made the experience as pleasant as they could.

  • Oct 02, 2018

Very brief meeting with me after surgery. I was not fully awake. Dr. Crawford did speak with my wife, however. There was some difficulty confirming that there was proper transfer authorization the morning of surgery, although I have been informed that surgery was approved the night before this was not communicated to the surgical staff.

  • Sep 20, 2018

Besides him telling me over and over how fat I am, everything else was okay. He is very rude.

  • Sep 20, 2018

Dr. D. Crawford is great, I would recommend him

  • Sep 19, 2018

    good

  • Sep 13, 2018

Was very helpful in asking what I wanted from my appointment. He provided me with good information, but also didn't pretend to know things he didn't, and knew when to refer me to another provider or colleague who might better serve my needs.

  • Sep 12, 2018

Dr. Crawford does not sugar coat anything and I prefer that in a doctor.

Exceptional professionalism and caring and extremely competent.

  • Jul 24, 2018

Excellent the diagnosis was right on

  • Jul 24, 2018

Dr. Crawford came highly recommended and was a second opinion for me. He was approachable and confident he could help. He gave useful advice as to how to advance my physical therapy until surgery. I left feeling relieved and in control of my healing. It was great to meet a Dr. who cared about me as a patient.

  • Jul 20, 2018

Dr. Crawford is caring and efficient. He is also quite knowledgeable. I feel like I am finally in good hands. The previous 3 surgeons couldn't or wouldn't help me. I appreciate that he's not pompous. The original surgeon who did my ACL surgery made my husband and I feel like we were beneath him.

  • Jul 19, 2018

Dr. Crawford appears to be very intelligent, academically and scientifically up to date as well as experienced in what needs to be done for my orthopedic injury. He is a kind man and answered all of my questions without thinking I didn't understand the academic answers. I appreciated that he saw me as a smart, educated woman instead of just a number or someone who needed mansplaining. I believe that he can do the surgery properly. The other resident? doctor in the room appeared to be intimidated by him a bit, but she knew her stuff and she was very smart and a good listener. I did feel that he has some ego (boastful) that he likes to show off, but I understand that he has to in this era of doctor shopping, where someone like me can easily go to a private or boutique provider. I trust that he is on the bleeding edge of the research and keeps up to date on technology and medical advances to help the patients of OHSU. OHSU HR team and execs, please keep him and provide him with the compensation package, travel, lecturing, coaching and educational opportunities necessary to retain him.

  • Jul 18, 2018

Dr. Crawford is a thoughtful physician who clearly spelled out my various options with the attendant risks and benefits.

  • Jul 12, 2018

Dr Crawford listens, gives suggestions, and is just a really nice guy !!

  • Jul 12, 2018

Dr. Crawford and team are excellent!

  • Jul 11, 2018

I liked that dr Crawford walked in, pulled up my mri's and walked thru the screens, and showed me what he was looking at and answered all my questions..

  • May 13, 2018

    Dr Crawford is great

  • Mar 13, 2018

Dr. Crawford is the best in town and region. I came to OSHU on purpose to see him.

  • Jan 08, 2018

dr. Crawford is amazing physician and surgeon to not be happier

  • Nov 20, 2017

Dr. Crawford was great, as usual, however his resident at the time needs to pay more attention to what is in patient health records. He disregarded the notes and prescribed a medication that was clearly noted as being intolerant. This caused an inconvenience in switching the medication at the last minute.

  • Nov 13, 2017

post op instructions were not clear and the doctor did not come back to explain to the patient.
