About me

Dr. Aaron Gale is a family doctor providing full-spectrum care to all ages. His interests include women’s health, maternity care, high-risk and surgical obstetrics, and transgender medicine. He is particularly passionate about caring for underserved groups and increasing access to care.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Gale worked in global health and development in Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and Haiti. He then ventured to Israel for medical school, and while studying there he worked extensively with Physicians for Human Rights supporting Palestinian communities throughout the West Bank.

Dr. Gale made his way back west after med school, choosing University of Utah for his residency training. He loved his experience in obstetrics and working with the local community health centers in Salt Lake City, and learned Spanish during residency to better care for Utah’s large Spanish-speaking population. After residency he stayed at UofU for a high-risk obstetrics fellowship, and now incorporates those skills into his everyday practice.

In his free time, Dr. Gale enjoys traveling with his wife and spending as much time as possible adventuring outdoors. If not at the hospital or clinic he can probably be found skiing, rock climbing, mountain biking, backpacking or exploring a new international locale.
