Dr. Ryu is originally from Queens, NY. She completed her Bachelor of Sciences in psychology at Brooklyn College and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at University at Buffalo in New York. Following graduation, she worked as a clinical staff pharmacist in Pennsylvania before moving on to complete her PGY1 pharmacy residency training at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Her clinical interests include bloodstream infections, opportunistic infections in immunocompromised patients, and antimicrobial stewardship. At OHSU, she will investigate the impact of rapid diagnostics on antimicrobial prescribing practices. Outside of residency, she enjoys cooking, visiting new restaurants and coffee shops, traveling, and theatres.
