PGY2 Infectious Diseases Current Resident

Dr. Sandstrom is from Vancouver, WA. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in BioHealth Sciences and her Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Oregon State University. She completed her PGY1 training at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children's Hospital, where she developed a passion for antimicrobial stewardship. She is currently a PGY2 infectious diseases pharmacy resident at OHSU. Her major research project this year will focus on sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim oral challenges for patients with labeled sulfa allergies. Outside of work, Dr. Sandstrom enjoys reading science fiction, watercolor painting, and going to brunch.
