PGY-1 Pharmacy

Welcome message from the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program Director
On behalf of the members of the Pharmacy Enterprise at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) Health, thank you for your interest in our ASHP accredited Postgraduate Year One (PGY-1) Pharmacy Residency.

We provide an unparalleled opportunity for highly motivated individuals to acquire the skills, knowledge, training and experience required to become future leaders in pharmacy. Established in 1988, the PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at OHSU Health has a long history of educating outstanding pharmacists.

Our residents receive outstanding clinical training in both inpatient and ambulatory pharmacy practice sites at OHSU hospital. The residency curriculum combines clinical, operational, and technical training components in order to provide a well-rounded experience. Upon completion of our program, graduates are highly trained pharmacists with access to the complete range of pharmaceutical career opportunities including additional residency or fellowship training and careers spanning all areas across the pharmacy enterprise.

We pride ourselves on being a residency training program that promotes a professional and personal growth mindset. This requires hard work, sacrifice, dedication, invested preceptors, a supportive environment, and perseverance. At OHSU Health, we strive to provide residents with the environment and tools to be outstanding members of society.

On behalf of the entire Pharmacy Enterprise, we appreciate your interest in OHSU Health and look forward to meeting you.
