Biography

Dr. Smith specializes in providing care for individuals and families affected by neuro-developmental disorders and mental health conditions. In her work as an individual provider and as part of multidisciplinary teams, her role primarily involves diagnostic assessment and provision of guidance for the treatment of a broad range of conditions, such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Development Disorder, Tourette syndrome, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-stressor related disorders, and obsessive-compulsive and related disorders. Dr. Smith enjoys how her work involves connecting with individuals and families in various ways with an institutionally supported commitment to patient-centered care. She strives to create patient care interactions defined by compassion, empowerment, and understanding.

Away from work, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with family and friends. Some of her favorite past-times include hiking, listening to music, and reading.
