Biography
At CEDAR, Katherine Huynh is pursuing her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. She aims to further early cancer detection through ultrasound physics, drug delivery processes, and nanoengineering. Previously at OHSU, Katherine studied atherosclerotic plaques using ultrasound contrast imaging and antibody delivery via microbubbles. Having worked at the intersection of industry and academia, she also developed high-throughput drug assays, synthesized fluorescent probes, programmed robotic instruments. Katherine graduated from Portland State University with B.S. in Micromolecular Biology and Chemistry.
