Biography

I have worked in many areas of nursing as an RN and NP. I have learned a tremendous amount from every area and feel blessed for all my experiences and the wonderful clients I have met. Nursing is a field where we continually learn and build skills and knowledge as well as grow emotionally and spiritually. I have enjoyed working in the United States as well as numerous other countries as a nurse, NP or educator and now look forward to passing on my skills and expertise to students. For the past 18 years I have worked as a PNP in Pediatric Cardiology, but prior to that I have worked in emergency rooms, homeless clinics, juvenile halls, PICUS, summer camps, refugee camps and a floating university (semester at sea).
