Biography

Erika is a board certified Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in caring for infants and children with heart problems. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Erika was a pediatric emergency department nurse. She holds certifications as a pediatric emergency nurse and pediatric nurse. She spent most of her nursing career at Children’s National Hospital in Washington D.C. before moving to Portland to be closer to family. In addition to caring for children and families at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Erika also has a special interest in infants and children with pulmonary hypertension and is a part of the pediatric pulmonary hypertension team. Erika loves the Pacific Northwest and enjoys snowboarding or hiking in her spare time. When the weather is less permitting, she is usually practicing yoga, dancing, or spending time with her family and friends.
