Scholarships Now Available for CHW Supervision Training
The Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) has funding available to support a limited number of community health worker (CHW) scholarships for NEON’s upcoming Essential Skills of Supervision Program.
This training is offered free of charge (a $200–$400 value per seat) via scholarships provided by ORH through funding received from the Oregon Health Authority (OHA). Scholarships are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To be eligible:
- You must be able to attend all sessions in which you enroll;
- You must be located in rural Oregon, as defined by the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (you can confirm eligibility using the Am I Rural? Tool); and
- You must be a certified CHW, a supervisor to a CHW, or a soon-to-be CHW supervisor.
