2026 COHQA Grant Program Now Open
The Central Oregon Health Quality Alliance (COHQA) recently announced the opening of its
2026 grant program, which will invest up to $200,000 in innovative, community and provider
led projects that improve health outcomes for community members. The final year of this
program continues COHQA’s long-standing commitment to empowering those closest to the
work, including health care providers, clinics, public health agencies and community-based
organizations (CBOs) to design and implement solutions that address real world health care challenges.
Eligible applicants include independent health care providers, clinics, public health agencies and
CBOs directly working in health care or in formal collaboration with a provider or clinic. Applicants must serve communities within Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Harney, Jefferson, Lake, Wheeler, Wasco, Sherman, Hood River, Skamania or Klickitat Counties. Organizations do not need to be a 501(c)(3) to apply. Awards of up to $40,000 per applicant are available for projects that can be completed within one year and align with COHQA’s mission and funding priorities, including provider-led innovation, community-led health care solutions and multi sector clinical coordination.
The grant cycle opens Feb. 23, 2026, with applications due by 5 p.m. PT on April 6, 2026.
A brief pre-application meeting with COHQA is required to confirm eligibility and support
strong proposals. Awards will be announced on May 29, 2026.
