About me

Dr. Kroeger received his M.D. from the University of Miami, while simultaneously completing a Masters in Science in Genomic Medicine. He then trained at Baylor College of Medicine for residency, followed by a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Casey Eye Institute.

He expressed a sincere concern for my well-being and presented his evaluation of my condition clearly, using the scan images with a clear explanation of the information that they revealed. I was relieved to learn that my condition is stable, with no significant deterioration.

Everyone involved with my care over multiple diagnostic visits and surgery was efficient, courteous, professional, and excellent at communication.   22. Dr Kroeger and the Retinal Surgical Team were brilliant in the way they supported each other and the patient. Having emergency surgery to repair a detached retina was scary and overwhelming. Dr. Kroeger and the team did an excellent job of providing us coherent and articulate answers to our questions and allay our fears and concerns. The surgery progressed in the way they prepared us, and we were well equipped to follow their post-op instructions to maximize the surgical results and healing. Dr. Kroeger is incredibly warm, friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. He engendered and earned our trust in his and the team's capable hands.
