Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

He is patient, kind, caring, and pays attention to my allergies and my unusla medication needs
Dr. Kroeger is an excellent listener and always took great care to provide exactly the information I needed to make decisions. It can take me a bit to organize my thoughts and it's *such* a better experience when I can hash things out with a patient and compassionate professional in real time.
Great demeanor and very personable. He explains the medical issues very effectively, showed me the imaging from my retina, and made for a great visit.
I always feel at ease, and know I am in expert hands, during my appointments at Case Eye Institute.
Everyone is great.

Dr. Kroger was very kind and thoughtful regarding my apprehension in getting an eye injection. He totally addressed my fears and my emotional upset - falling apart. As I told him "you are my hero today!"
