About me

Dr. Mansoor practices general cardiology with a special interest in sports cardiology. He also teaches to medical students and graduate students and has a research laboratory focused on developing new treatments for heart disease and diseases of the central nervous system. These therapies have the potential to treat conditions like high blood pressure, coronary artery disease (from atherosclerotic plaque hardening the arteries), and Alzheimer’s disease.

Dr. Mansoor grew up in Clackamas, Oregon. He graduated from Reed College in Portland and received his medical and cardiology training as well as his research training at OHSU.
