Patrick Schrank is a board-certified physician assistant working in orthopedics. For Patrick, seeing the healing process in action and the impact his assistance has on patients makes working in orthopedics meaningful. He works with patients who have issues with their bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons or nerves.

Patrick earned his master’s degree in orthopedics at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New Jersey.

Patrick likes skiing in the winter and exploring Portland in the summer.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  12. I consider myself fortunate to have found a clinician who understood my questions and answered at the level of my own knowledge, while offering explanations that had not previously been conveyed by another clinic. I deeply appreciate the time and open communication.

  13. The doctor was very kind and helpful. They even added getting repeat hip xrays to the appointment, just to make sure they could check my hip replacements, as I have been having a lot of pain, and new neuropathy in my outer thighs and lower legs. The doctor also did a steroid injection right there to try to help with my knes.
