About me

I am an oncology nurse practitioner who treats adults with lymphoma.

I assist my patients with the management of side effects from lymphoma and its treatment.

I have been an oncology nurse for 20 years and believe in meeting patients where they are in their lives. This approach helps me better understand how to best support my patients holistically and not just clinically. Cancer is life-altering and impacts not just the patient but also the patient's entire support system and community.

Outside of work, you will find me watching a baseball game with my family at the Hops stadium or running around participating in my children's many activities. If I am not doing either of those, you may see me at a local karaoke place.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

  2. I don't feel seen by my normal oncoligist. I was so happy to get this other doctor for the day, I'm still unsure as to why I was scheduled with her but I am greatful. She was very personable, explained things to me in a compassionate manner and made me feel seen and heard. I now know what it feels like to come out of an oncology appointment with a sence of understanding and somewhat of a smile, even if I do have stage 4 cancer.
