About me

Melissa Adair is a doctor of nursing practice who completed a general dermatology fellowship in addition to a dermatology specialty certification training after she graduated from the University of Washington Family Nurse Practitioner program in 2018. She enjoys treating all conditions of the hair, skin, and nails, and has a particular interest in treating hair loss disorders, acute and chronic rashes, and conducting skin cancer screenings for early detection of skin cancer.  Above all else, Melissa relishes the opportunity to listen to and team up with her patients to create individualized solutions to dermatologic conditions of all complexity.

Melissa Adair is a long-time resident of the Pacific Northwest who most recently moved to Portland from the Oregon coast. Melissa’s favorite activity outside of work is mountain biking; and she has fun traveling throughout the Northwest trying out different bike trails with friends. She also enjoys cooking, knitting, kayaking, cribbage, and volunteering with birds and marine animals.

  15. Both the NA student and NP were wonderful. They were easy to talk with and they answered all of my questions. Overall, it was a very pleasant visit, but I also learned a few things about my condition and related medications. I can't ask for more than that.
