About me

Dr. Baldwin specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology with a focus in family planning, adolescent gynecology, and early pregnancy management. She is particularly interested in office-based procedures as an alternative to the operating room. She is involved in clinical research of the timing of IUD placement after delivery and improving pain during office procedures. Other research projects include management of very early pregnancy and educational methods for training gynecologic exams. Dr. Baldwin enjoys the variety of her work which includes clinical care, teaching, research, international service, advocacy work and local provider training.

Dr. Baldwin grew up in Seattle but has been a Portland transplant since coming to OHSU in 2002 for medical school. She has a young family and enjoys reading mystery novels, cycling and listening to radio shows.

Women's health philosophy:

“My goal is to listen to my patient and empower her with information and support.”

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
