I see patients atAbout me
I’m Joanna Galindo, a Pediatric Neurology Doctor specializing in treating epilepsy, headaches, and cerebral palsy.
I take a holistic approach to patient care, discussing not only medications but also a range of therapies, such as physical therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, when appropriate.
As a generalist, I have the opportunity to see a wide spectrum of cases both in and outside of the hospital. I find the most joy in seeing my patients after they’ve been discharged, getting to know their hobbies and interests, and following their progress over the years as I manage their disorders.
Outside of work, I love listening to live music, perfecting my coffee barista skills, and exploring new restaurants.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
