  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

  24. This is the first time I have ever had a tele-health internet meeting and it worked marvelously! Jill listened and was responsive. It was a very good experience. The first time I met with Jill was in the office in Portland. I thought she had a hearing problem because she shouted the entire appointment, and it really was upsetting. But as I was leaving that appointment, I heard her shouting at the next patient so I suspected she had a hearing deficit. There was no evidence of this in this telehealth visit, and because there was no shouting, I felt comfortable to share more of my concerns regarding this TKR. Thank you.

  28. The clinician was very friendly and professional but cordial. She really listened to what I had to say about the pain issues I was having in my knees. She did give me injections in my knees and she did do it as gently as she could. And she also soothed me when I winced at the uncomfortableness of the medication going into the knee. I have had a knee injected before at another hospital and the way that your clinician did it was so much better and easier for me to take.
