About me

I am a physician assistant specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine. I'm dedicated to helping patients regain their mobility and return to the activities they love. Whether you're dealing with a sports injury, joint pain or post-surgical recovery, I take the time to listen to your concerns and create a personalized treatment plan that works for you.

I believe in treating the whole person, not just the injury. That means I'll look at how your overall health and lifestyle may be affecting your condition, and I'll make sure all your questions are answered before we move forward. My goal is to help you understand your diagnosis, explore all your treatment options and feel confident in your path to recovery.

When you visit me, you can expect a thorough evaluation, clear explanations of your imaging and test results and a collaborative approach to your care. I'm here to be your advocate and partner in achieving better mobility and reduced pain.

  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

I felt very cared for by Jared Anderson, he took his time talking things through with me, went over all my Imaging to help me understand it, went through my questions and scenarios, etc. I felt like he listened to my concerns both past and present, and took Into consideration how I want to move forward with treatment. It was definitely a much more positive and comforting experience than the last time I saw a provider for my knee.
