About me

I am a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. I specialize in helping patients dealing with:

  • Joint instability
  • Ligament tears
  • Dislocations
  • Sports-related injuries

I'm here to provide expert, compassionate care that helps you return to the activities you love. As a former collegiate athlete myself, I understand the physical and emotional challenges of sports injuries, and I approach each patient's care with that personal perspective in mind.

In addition to my clinical work at OHSU Orthopaedics in Beaverton and South Waterfront, I serve as Team Physician for Portland State University, providing comprehensive sports medicine care for varsity athletes. I've also had the privilege of serving as the primary orthopedic sports medicine doctor for athletes at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and as a medical volunteer at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

When I'm not caring for patients, I enjoy trail running, hiking and curling up with a good book on a rainy Oregon day.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  1. The surgery went super easy, everyone was nice and professional

  2. Everything went very well, seemed very rushed to get out once was ready to leave.

  3. Dr. Brady and her entire staff, including Sarah (her Physical Therapist) were beyond thoughtful, educated, and caring in helping me. They worked promptly to get me what I needed, took the time to communicate clearly to me and really hear my needs, and put a plan together to assist me in such a short time frame. I have been a patient of Dr. Brady's for 9 years, and would never see anyone else!

  4. Dr. Brady and her Ortho team appear to work very well together. The teamwork and respect is inspiring.

  5. The entire process was pleasant, even considering the complex nature of the surgery.

  6. I am super sad she is leaving OHSU

  7. Dr Brady is amazing

  8. Dr Brady seemed to consider my injuries much more than other doctors I've seen. She checked my knee in depth, thought about it for a long time, and seemed to consider it for a while before offered potential solutions. Most other doctors I've seen are quick to offer what seems to be the first idea that comes to their mind. She seemed to actually look at my injury as a problem to be solved. She has my full confidence.

  9. Dr. Brady has blown me away with the care she has given me. I have never felt so heard, respected, and cared for by a physician.

  10. The nurses Dr. Brady's team and Sarah her physical. Therapist were amazing and outstanding. The whole team deserves, and award like Best Team of the year.

  11. I felt very listened to and she explained clearly what is causing my pain.

  12. Dr. Brady has showed me so much care and compassion, at levels I have never experienced before. She made me feel heard and explained her clinical thoughts and every possible course of treatment without pressuring me to choose one thing over another. I am so grateful for everything her and the staff at OHSU have done for me so far, and I haven't even had my operation yet.

  13. Doctor was amazing. Listened to my concerns and was willing to help me even though I didn't fit in the black and white box of what the perfect patient was for the surgery.

  14. All the clinicians, Nurse Anesthesia and the Anesthesiologist were phenomenal and my Ortho PA was very good at preparing me for the price and post op My surgeon was amazing, thoughtful, funny and authentic about the procedure and the follow up.

  15. Wonderful

  16. Good

  17. Incredibly knowledgeable and cared about my situation. Scheduled my surgery asap when I had previously been told I'd have to wait. Was VERY knowledgeable about her specialty and answered questions I'd had my whole life.

  18. She is thoughtful, informative and knowledgeable

  19. Dr. Brady was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I left the consult feeling hopeful that she could fix my specific knee problem. She spent a lot of time with me and my husband, answering our questions, examining me and getting to know us personally. I feel very confident choosing her as my orthopedic surgeon, not just because she's extremely well-qualified and passionate about patellofemoral disorders, but also because I can tell she really cares. Thank you, Dr. Brady!!

  20. Dr. Brady has wonderful. Smart, efficient, and caring. I have already sung her praises to another friend who coincidentally is looking for a doctor for similar care.
