About me
Dr. Berry has dedicated her career to treating patients with melanoma and those who are at high risk for the disease. She chose the field of dermatology because she believes that early detection of skin cancer is the best chance for a cure. Dr. Berry completed her medical degree and internship at Vanderbilt University and her dermatology residency at Emory University.
She currently serves as OHSU Pigmented Lesion Clinic Director, Melanoma Multidisciplinary Clinic Co-Director, and Co-Director of the GenoMEL consortium, an international group of dermatologists, medical oncologists, basic scientists and clinical geneticists dedicated to pursuing the germline and somatic genetic underpinnings of melanoma. Her clinical and research interests include management of histologically atypical nevi, melanoma education for primary care clinicians, dermoscopy education, guidelines for germline genetic testing for melanoma predisposition syndromes, and treatment of large, unresectable melanomas and cutaneous melanoma metastases.
In her spare time, Dr. Berry enjoys spending time with her family, running, exploring the incredible Pacific Northwest, and sampling Portland’s brunch spots.

Dr. Berry is the kindest, most professional, thorough, doctor you could hope to have! I was very technically very challenged trying to log on to the appt on my phone and on my laptop. She was SO patient, figured out how we could still get it done and did not rush at all through the appt. My condition is very complicated. She was very caring, and came up with a very comprehensive plan to figure things out. I appreciate Dr. Berry very much.

Dr Berry listened to my skin concerns, did a thorough exam and explained treatment. She offered services of the whole care team for my Lynch surveillance. I will ask more at future visit.
Dr. Berry was very thorough in her examination, and answered all my questions in language I understood. She is very compassionate and understanding. I was most impressed when she said she was leaving her position there but would be available if I needed to consult with her about any future questions about a check up or problem. She was most obliging.

Dr. Berry was great. She made extra effort to follow up on what could have been nothing but that turned out to be serious, so I got a much earlier diagnosis. She Is very kind. She explained my options well. She worked well with the nice resident, Dr, McClure.
