About me

Dr. Caroline McCormick is a training physician who enjoys getting to know patients personally and being responsible for all aspects of their care. She is fulfilled by working together with patients to find tailored solutions to any medical problems they have. She is pursuing residency in internal medicine to broaden her medical knowledge and become a well-rounded physician. Her previous research has included diverse topics spanning dairy cow microbial communities to patient safety after surgery. Caroline is also passionate about giving back to her community, previously volunteering at clinics for uninsured patients and serving as community outreach chair for her oncology interest group. She hopes to continue her research and volunteer work at OHSU.

Beyond the clinic, Caroline considers herself an enthusiastic (read: inexperienced) hiker, coffee connoisseur and certified nature lover. She has a goal of visiting every coffee roastery in Portland and is excited to experience as many hiking trails as she can.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
