Offer letters

Postdoctoral scholars are paid either by OHSU or by a stipend. Template offer letters are available for each.

Please use these templates when offering an appointment or reappointment for a postdoctoral position. The basic contents of these letters should not be substantively changed without approval.

Layoff and non-renewal letters

If you must layoff a postdoc due to loss of funding or performance concerns, if the postdoc appointment has reached its scheduled end point, or if the postdoc is resigning his or her position, please use the appropriate letter template below. The basic contents of these letters should not be substantively changed without approval.
