Dr. Whitney Roper is a family physician. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and from all backgrounds and partnering with them to improve all aspects of their health and wellbeing. Outside of work, she and her husband enjoy good food shared with great friends and family, and exploring the Pacific Northwest by foot and by bike.

  1. I assume by clinician you mean the first person I interacted with, the nurse. She was very personable, great bedside manner.

  2. Complicated visit. Dr. Roper explained in detailed all she needed to do. She made sure I understood and was comfortable during the hip injection. Due to long visit we didn't cover everything, but she directed me to MYChart for further detail.

  8. Dr.Roper is an excellent doctor. She listens to any of my concerns and always has a plan on how she suggests we approach them but also always asks for my opinion or thoughts on her suggestions. Best doctor OHSU has in family medicine.

  9. Dr Roper and her nurse tried for quite a while to remove the difficult wax in my ear. She tried for quite a while. So did her asst. She finally gave up and ordered a prescription for ear drops to do it myself.

  10. Dr. Roper is kind and thorough. She takes the time to carefully listen and to explain things in a clear and understandable way. I've grown to trust her and greatly appreciate her care.
