About me

Tannia Hines has the privilege of working with a diverse group of patients at our Westside orthopaedics practice. Her unique role as the primary physician assistant at our Westside practice gives her the opportunity to work closely with the department’s trauma, spine, upper extremity, and sports medicine surgeons. She is involved with the care of our patients before, during and after surgery by managing preoperative visits, assisting in surgery, seeing patients in the hospital and following their care postoperatively in the clinic. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cheering on the Trailblazers, hiking, cross country skiing, and attending live musical performances.

Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  1. Tannia Fleming handled has handled my case and my appointment with professionalism and compassion. Her instructions and recommendations were clear and given in terminology I can understand. I felt initial resistance to parts of the treatment plan (i.e., continued wearing of the neck brace), and she was patient with me and helped me see the reasons for it. I look forward to my next appointment with her.

  3. Tania Fleming is just amazing . She Answered all my questions and went into great detail on all my options I was concerned about . Her knowledge is vast and I'm glad I got to see her .OHSU is very lucky to have such a wonderful , caring , and knowledgeable person on their team . And so am I .

  4. This clinician is a PA. I & my adult children cannot have an interactive conversation with her. She required being listened to. She presented as not having knowledge of the physical consequences as one recovering from this type of back surgery & its location. This was an isolated experience for me. I've had very positive experience with all other professionals that have cared for me at OHSU.

  5. Tanya was great. She was professional, to my concerns seriously and had an xray done to find out. When she confirmed my thought about my spine above my fusion was failing, she gave me his information about possible options my surgeon would suggest. She has me take a neck brace to see if that helped. Ordered a CT so the surgeon could decide if he wanted to expand my future neck surgery to include this additional area. She was great.
