About me
I am a hematologist who cares for patients with all manner of hematologic (blood) diseases. I have a special focus on bleeding and clotting disorders, including:
- Venous and arterial thrombosis
- Hemophilia
- von Willebrand disease
- Platelet disorders
I also serve as the program director of the section of Classical Hematology at the Knight Cancer Institute, as well as co-director of the OHSU School of Medicine’s “Blood and Host Defense” curriculum block.
When not working I enjoy spending time with my famliy. My wife, Dominique, practices anesthesia as a CRNA, and together we have a four-year-old son, Ansel, a two-year-old daughter, Helena, and a mini-goldendoodle, Pintxo.
