About me

Dr. Supreetha Gubbala is a primary care physician who specializes in family medicine. Her clinical interests include primary care psychiatry, substance use disorder, intergenerational and systemic trauma and healing-centered engagement.

A self-described “global rugrat,” she has at various points in her life called India, Australia and Massachusetts home. Her experiences as a lifelong immigrant inspired her to choose family medicine with the hope of supporting individuals and their communities in their unique health journeys.

In her practice, she uses an integrated approach that is community based and family driven to walk alongside individuals as they move toward healing from intergenerational and systemic trauma.

Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Gubbala was a published journalist and writer. Today, she remains an avid reader and writer who can often be found buried between the shelves of the public library.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
