Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

  18. Excellent , knowledgeable and helpful as always. I really appreciate and trust her.

  19. While I ultimately had 3 people in my appt with me- my actual doctor, a student doctor, and another doctor overseeing the student doctor- they were all kind and gentle with me. It was however, overwhelming and I do wish there had been more time with just my primary physician. The other 2 did nothing wrong, but it was overwhelming and I'm now remembering questions I meant to ask. I had them written down... I understand it is a teaching hospital and I appreciate that. Explaining and answering the questions of 3 people at once was too much and side tracked me from my focus. I spent at least 3 hours completing my initial intake form, not to mention the full 24hr urination diary. I wish I'd had more 1 on 1 time with my doctor...

  20. Excellent in every aspect

  26. The entire staff in the OR was outstanding. Very thorough. Dr Cichowski and her staff were truly remarkable. They answered all my questions, and helped me feel very safe and important. This was opposite from how I felt once on the nursing floor.

  27. She's great

  28. Very clear and friendly to

  29. Sara clearly explained how she was going to examine me and discussed my health issues in a straightforward way.I felt very confident in her skills and techniques. She made me feel quite comfortable. I think she is a very competent physician.

  30. She listens, most Dr's these days don't.
