Insurance

Before scheduling an appointment

  1. Check your network. If you have health insurance,  call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Visit our billing and insurance page for more information.

Ratings and reviews

Overall: 4.6 out of 5 (38 Ratings, 19 Reviews)

The patient ratings score is an average of all responses to the question "How likely would you be to recommend this provider to your family and friends (on a scale of 0 to 10)" on our nationally-recognized NRC patient surveys.

  1. Thoughtful with good, direct questions. Open to my questions, with thoughtful responses.

  2. The group were patient and listened carefully to me

  3. They were all heard my concerns and provided me with explanations in a way that I could understand what they meant.

  4. It went well and I was able to feel satisfied once the appointment was done.

  5. Dr Hirani has been my doctor after both of my car accidents. Dr Hirani is very attentive to my concerns and has been very supportive in my care and treatment. I am grateful for his continued support.

  6. Dr Armani was very caring, knowledgeable and incitfful

  7. Dr. Hirani was wonderful (and Madeleine, too). Again. He listened and *heard* me, he'd done due diligence in reading/understanding my medical history and diagnosis ahead of time, as well as had followed up on our prior appointment's action items and my immediate needs/questions. And He treated me as an individual and with respect. It shouldn't be uncommon, or surprising, but it is exceedingly rare.

  8. He was through and asked alot of questions then brought in another Dr.to consult

  9. Dr Hirani was a pleasure to deal with despite me being the last patient for I'm sure a very long day. My wife and I were both delighted with our interaction with him.

  10. Dr. Hirani was very personable and answered my questions clearly. His staff and product rep were great also and very attentive to my situation

  11. Excellent. Answered my questions and treated me as a teammember

  12. It was perfect he had empathy and listened

  13. Two other care providers were the ones conducting my video visit. They collaborated with Dr. Hirani off screen. I felt like this particular visit would have been better in person. I didn't feel great about the visit. Dr. Hirani himself actually called me after the visit, and I really appreciated that! I felt a lot better after he called.

  14. Fantastic experience and service!!

  15. Dr Hirani is not only brilliant at removing nerve pain, he is one of the kindest doctors I have ever had. And I am 66! Thats a lot of doctors I have worked with. He remembers big things and little things. I have no idea how he does it but it makes me feel like a million bucks! I wish I could rate him 100!

  16. He was Knowledgeable, kind, listen to me and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend him. However, making an appointment in his office was pure hell.

  17. Dr Hirani listens and cares!

  18. Open, friendly demeaner; approachable screen presence.Excellent listener, which led to asking questions that led him to better understanding of my problem.

  19. Dr Harani is an excellent listener, very professional, knowledgeable and caring. He is a top 10% physician.
