Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

I would specifically recommend Dr. Norton if my friends who are lifetime athletes are looking for a new PCP. It matters to use to have a doctor who is like minded.

Dr Norton is the best Sports Medicine doctor! Very caring, personable, and extremely great at giving injections!
Very skilled and professional. I really like OHSU.
Concerned by the things we told him. The only thing I am concerned about is we did not get our papers when we left. And we were late in getting to see him.
Ryan Norton is a skilled physician who is knowledgeable and kind. He listens to my concerns and wants to know how he can help. He followed up via MyChart with answers to my questions he needed to look into.

Went for my yearly checkup with Dr. Norton. He has always been great at listening and guiding me to make good choices. He is awesome and an advocate for exercise and nutrition. My family also loves going to Dr. Norton. The nurse I saw was also very good and came back to take my BP a second time as it was high the first. Great clinic!
