About me

Ruth has focused her practice in the care of children with gastroenterology support needs. She has pursued further education and training as a wound, ostomy, and continence specialist to support individuals with surgical and/or feeding tube needs.  Ruth enjoys caring for children, especially watching them find their growth potential when feeling well again. In her spare time, Ruth spends time with her husband, reading mystery books, and exploring the beautiful Oregon coast. When she finds time for herself, she likes to quilt, trying out new patterns and fabrics.

Insurance

Before scheduling your appointment, we recommend you contact your insurance company to verify that the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is included in your network. Your insurance company will also be able to inform you of any copayments, co–insurance, or deductibles that will be your responsibility. If you proceed in scheduling an appointment and your health insurance benefits do not participate with OHSU providers, your out of pocket liability may be higher. Visit the billing and insurance section of our site for more information.
