About me
I was born and raised in Russia, and came to the United States at the age of 18. I always had a passion for medicine, and while working on my undergraduate studies in Sacramento, CA, I worked as an optician and an ophthalmic technician. I went to Pacific University College of Optometry to pursue my Doctorate and Master's degrees. I have a great deal of passion for ocular pathology and medical optometry. I enjoy teaching and mentoring students in clinics as well as in lecture halls.
I enjoy serving my community as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and responding to emergencies in our area. I love traveling, hiking, and just spending quality time with my family.

Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Professional, pleasant, timely and trustworthy with my eyes.
Very thing went very well and was so pleased at the quickness of the appointment
Very good
Professional, thorough, focused on now not what's in the next room despite being very busy. Attentive. Thoughtful and critics thinking.
Good. Professional.
My experience was great and
First time seeing him. He was very professional, and explained things well.
Excellent
Friendly, courteous and professional.
Dr. Nefodov is very thorough. He seems to be up with new market gadgets. I use one of those gel packs that heat in the microwave. That is tough when traveling. He knew about the new blue tooth eye mask. He explained what he was doing just before doing it. He told me how my eyes were doing. It seems his protocol is helping. My macular degeneration remained a bout the same.
My needs were met with a caring and professional manner. Conditions and follow ups to the condition were well
Good
