Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

Knowledgeable and great at answering my questions (even though many of the answers made me sad.)
The doctor was very patient with me and answered all my questions. It's a very confusing situation and he was kind and caring. Thank you.
Great! Friendly and helpful

Nice clinic
Michael Mallon was absolutely the best part of my visit. He is very knowledgeable, through, and has a great " bedside" manner.
Michael Mallon was kind, understanding, and attentive, listening carefully to my history before clearly explaining his opinion and promising follow-up if his opinion changes after receiving my scans.
Its hard to find clinicians that use patient-first language towards transgender patients. I had a lot of anxiety meeting with a new provider, but he took time to ask and listen about my health history and my goal regarding my transition. He made me feel heard and seen and I left the appt feeling really confident I was in good hands.
