About me

Matthew is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). Matthew has been a member of the medical community in Portland since 2013. Since completing his training at Vanderbilt School of Nursing’s MSN program, Matthew has provided outpatient behavioral health care at urgent care mental health clinics and managed medical assisted treatment for patients struggling with substance use disorders. In his current role, as a PMHNP at in the psychiatric emergency service setting at Unity Center for Behavioral Health, he provides medical management and crisis stabilization for patients experiencing mental health crisis. As clinical faculty, Matthew believes strongly that interdisciplinary collaboration and holistic therapeutic interventions are the foundation of a patient focused approach to addressing the behavioral health concerns of the patient.

  2. Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.

If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.
