Professional, empathetic, and I look for the best support options for my daughter. And the use of an interpreter at all times. Very respectful.
Very thorough with explanation and discussion.Just a late start to the appointment, which was unexpected.
She made me feel connected and heard about my son. She made sure to answer any questions I had.
It's went very well she was very understanding and explained everything very well. She cared a lot for my child.
Best care and treatment for children
This was a helpful appointment, but was not child friendly. This should have been an appointment between me and the provider, followed by a separate appointment with my child present - the provider asked me questions about my child for almost 2 hours and only at the end directly addressed her. Meanwhile my 8 year old was very understandably bored and frustrated, as there was nothing provided for her to do. I thought the appointment was going to involve her much more, otherwise I would have brought a tablet or other entertainment. When I interjected and asked for some coloring sheets for her, a resident came and took her to another room to color together - I was overwhelmed in the moment and went along with it but there should have been a conversation about whether my child and I were comfortable with that. The provider also mentioned that my child has ADHD in front of her without my permission. I appreciated the doctor's insight and advice, but this appointment should have been structured very differently.
This provider was incredibly patient, understanding, and truly wanted to get to know our daughter and help us create a plan to help her succeed. She is very knowledgeable.
Everyone was super friendly and asked use various questions to make sure we were comfortable why we waited.
