About me
Kristen Sharp is an electrophysiology physician assistant providing pre- and post-procedural care for ablations and cardiac device implants. She prescribes and manages antiarrhythmic medications and monitors pacemakers, defibrillators and implanted devices.
She enjoys working in electrophysiology because of the ability to provide life-saving interventions such as pacemakers, defibrillators and ablations, and being able to see patients make dramatic improvements in their health.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Cinder, as well as rock climbing, running and traveling.

Insurance
Before scheduling an appointment
- Check your network. If you have health insurance, call your company to find out if the OHSU Health location or provider you plan to visit is part of your network.
- Ask what you will pay. Your insurance company can tell you what your costs are likely to be.
If you schedule an appointment and your health insurance does not include OHSU Health, you may have to pay more than if you go to a provider in your insurance network.

My follow-up was great. The PA answered all my questions and explained everything clearly. She was polite and professional. The nurse was, too. It was a good experience for me.
The cardiology team has been amazing on all acounts, technical skill and experience, listening and empathy, information sharing and affirmation, and customer service and genuine care! The same can be said for the intake staff, nurses, and surgical team! Thank you very much!
I had questions that had been referred by my cardiologist and told they would be dealt with when I came in for my post procedure visit. Was told they don't deal with those issues. Even though it was brought up by OHSU. An EKG was done with results showing up on my chart. There was an abnormality found without an explanation given or if there was a need for urgency. I don't feel good about this department at all.
